DAY 1: Nairobi to Narok to Masai Mara

Arise early in time to meet your tour guide, who will meet and assist you at an agreed and well communicated pick-up point (pick-up time is 7.00 am). Depart south for Narok County. En route is a brief stopover at View Point for an amazing view of the Great Rift Valley. Proceed to Narok Town. Narok Town is located to the west of Nairobi along the Great Rift Valley. It is named ‘Enkare Narok’ after the river that flows through the town. Transfer to the Seasons Narok Hotel for a mid morning breakfast. Visit the Narok Museum, a pre-historic site. Narok Town is a rich Maasai cultured town. At your disposal is an ample opportunity to acquire souvenirs. Proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Transfer to your Mara camp/ lodge for lunch. Upon arrival at your Mara camp/ lodge are optional karibu (welcome) alcoholic/ non alcoholic drinks/ cocktails/ eucalyptus scented towels (where applicable). Afternoon spent game viewing at the reserve. Return to your Mara camp/ lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Engai Camp/ Mara Ngenche Safari Camp/ Olare Mara Kempinski Camp/ Ilkeliani Mara Camp/ JK Mara Camp/ Mara Serena Lodge/ Offbeat Mara Camp/ Tipilikwani Mara Camp/ Fairmont Mara Safari Club/ Mara Sopa Lodge/ Sentrim Mara Lodge/ Mara Sun Lodge/ Siana Springs Tented Camp/ Maji Moto Eco Camp/ Kimana Mara Tented Camp.

DAY 2: Masai Mara

Breakfast at 7.30 am and depart with your packed lunch for the reserve. Full day spent at the reserve. Enjoy a refreshing morning game drive and a scenic picnic lunch at the reserve. Whilst on the morning safari, look out for the big five (the African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard and the endangered black rhino species), among other wild game such as the cheetah, jackal, hyena, leopard, bat-eared fox, Coke’s hartebeest, hippo and over 470 recorded bird species. Afternoon spent witnessing ‘the Great Migration’ along the Mara/ Talek Rivers. The Great Migration is a spectacular annual event comprising of over 1.3 million wildebeest, 500,000 Thomson’s gazelles, 200,000 zebras, 97,000 topi and 18,000 elands. Evening spent at the camp/ lodge/ game viewing at the reserve whilst enjoying a sundowner and watching a wonderful Mara sunset. Return to your Mara camp/ lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Engai Camp/ Mara Ngenche Safari Camp/ Olare Mara Kempinski Camp/ Ilkeliani Mara Camp/ JK Mara Camp/ Mara Serena Lodge/ Offbeat Mara Camp/ Tipilikwani Mara Camp/ Fairmont Mara Safari Club/ Mara Sopa Lodge/ Sentrim Mara Lodge/ Mara Sun Lodge/ Siana Springs Tented Camp/ Maji Moto Eco Camp/ Kimana Mara Tented Camp.

DAY 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi

Breakfast at 7.30 am and proceed to the reserve. Enjoy a refreshing morning game drive at the reserve. Return to your Mara camp/ lodge for lunch. Afternoon spent at leisure. Activities include a guided bush/ nature/ bird walk (at a supplement), a trek/ hike safari, a visit to a local Maasai village/ a cultural visit (at a supplement), learning bush craft skills, Maasai lifestyle and warrior training, a hot air balloon safari (at a supplement) (best/ normally done very early in the morning), a visit to a local neighboring school (at a supplement), health and wellness (spa treatments) (at a supplement), game viewing, bird watching, swimming and relaxing by the pool. Having concluded your safari, embark on a journey back to Nairobi. The drop-off point is the same as the pick-up point.
